DIY Twine Coasters

Hiya,
I've found more of my favorite twine and this is what I made with it.
Some lovely coasters finished with a blanket stitch.

It's one of the easiest DIY. All you need to do after they're done is to iron them with some steam, so they will stay flat.

I hope you liked it.
See you soon.

Festive Sparkling Pillow From Sequined Tank Top

Hiya,
continuing with more pillow covers this is what I made from an old sequined tank top.
I really liked this pillow and remembered I had a top just for it.

I kinda forgot to take a before picture hence the funny paint design. :)

All you need to do is cut as shown, stitch the ends and Ta-dah!

The fabric was very stretchy so I decided to use a rectangular pillow instead of a square one. Please ignore the rough hand stitch at the bottom :)
I hope you like it.
See you soon.

Ruffle Pillow From 2 T-shirts

Hello,
this is a quick post about a cute ruffle pillow made from 2 t-shirts.

I found the tutorial a while ago and it doesn't get any simpler than this.
All you need is:
Two white jersey t-shirts (or different color of your choice).

From the first one you can make the pillow cover and the second is for the ruffles.
I hope you like it.
See you soon!

DIY: Cosy Blanket With a Matching Pillow

As the weather is getting cold and rainy, I've been spending more time inside with a hot cup of coffee and Pinterest browsing. I've stumbled upon this lovely knitted decor and decided to try and make something similar.

Well my knitting is not that advanced, but I had a lot of time on my hands and too much rain outside to even bother getting out. :)
So I knitted 4 pieces for the blanket and one for the pillow:

At the end I just stitched the 4 pieces together and made the fringe all around.
Then covered small pillow with the last piece and stitched the edges together.
And Voila!

Here it is folded in half. Not extremely great, but it's ok for a beginner.

DIY Dressmaker's Dummy Decor

Hello, I wanted to do this DIY for a while and finally got the time.
I saw the tutorial on Pinterest
and I tried it.
I used my old dummy for a model not myself and although it took me longer than I thought, the result is great. The hardest part was to decide which cover I like more :)
Here is the first one I did with vintage rose fabric:

And here is the second one with lace and twine heart decoration:
I think I'm gonna keep the second cover for now.
What do you think?

Twine macrame/wall decor DIY

I've finished my little twine project. I was inspired by Pinterest
Now I can finally show you my DIY twine macrame/wall decor:

I've decided it's easier if I knit it.
When it was finished I stretched it while ironing with steam. Then just decorated it with some shells and sequins.
So what do you think?
