Stitch On Gems Refashion

Hello, are you getting ready for the holidays? I got a little bit nostalgic for the long gone summer so I thought of this simple swim suit refashion. All I did was to stitch some gems around.

Now I'm ready for the next bikini season. :))
Hope you liked it!

Tracksuit to sporty skirt :)

Hello there my dear! I've been gone for like a month now (shame on me!), working on some new projects, helping with the design of my friend's wedding dress etc...
I've got so many ideas and not enough time in the day...
Never mind I've also prepared a new refashion for you all:
turning this tracksuit

into this sporty skirt :)

This season I'm obsessed with military boots and sport skirts...weird right. :)
I hope you like the refashion - it's very simple and kind of lazy for all the busy bees like me. :)

Something New For The Autumn

The summer is gone...not that I felt like there was any summer in England :), but know it's definitely over. It's getting cold and rainy more often...and it makes me melancholic. That's why I've changed the "face" of my blog a little bit to match my mood and the weather. I hope you'll like it this way and if you have any suggestions and comments I'll be happy to hear from you!
On a brighter note, I forgot to mention 5 weeks ago my cat had 4 little kittens. :)

Fromm left to right: Fluffy, Batman, Tiger and Zombie. :) Aren't they sweet? I'm taking care of them til they are old enough to move in some nice, warm homes and make somebody very happy! :)
So...this is from me for now, see you soon!

Hubby's Sweater :)

Hey there! I've been wearing my hubby's sweater a lot lately, because it got so cold and rainy here and I needed something cozy to keep me warm. Well he finally gave it up and now it's officially mine! :)
And of course I refashioned it a bit... (it was way too big)

I took the sides a bit to make it smaller and stitched some grey lace around the edges and there you go:
Now all I need is large cup of coffee! :)
I hope you liked it!

High-Low Skirt

I've been around couple of charity shops lately and found so many wonderful clothes, that need just a little bit love. This skirt is one of them. I loved the colors straight away, but the length wasn't very suitable for my figure. So I fixed it a bit and now it fits amazing! Here is a photo from before:

And Voila!

So simple and effective! I hope you'll like it!

New Refashioned Dress

Hi there, I've got something new for you today. :) I found this lovely dress in a charity shop and I thought I might refashion it a bit and bring it back to life.
Here is how it used to look like:

All I did was to cut the length in front and make a round neckline with some gem trims.
A closer look to the trim and the neck line:

Ta daah!

So what do you think?

Refashioning Baby Clothes :)

Hello, my dear dear readers! First: Thank you! to everyone who is following my blog! Second: Thank you! for all the nice comments on my posts! And third: Sorry I couldn't reply to your comments, I've been so busy and distracted... I know this is not an excuse when it comes to paying attention to you, I do love every single comment, but I'm terrible with replying on time!
Here is what has been keeping me busy: very good friend of mine is having a baby girl soon and she asked me to help refashioning some clothes. I want to make sure this little sunshine will have the most unique and trendy clothes :) and this is what I've done so far.
I've turned this lovely boy's t-shirt into a girls one with a little bit of lace trim and a ribbon bow. A simple white onesie and shoes refashioned with some lace and bows:

I hope you liked it! It's been so fun to work on tiny cute clothes. Can't wait to finish the rest and see my friend's face when I give them to her. :)
See you soon!

What we did when it rained for weeks :)

Hey there, long time no see! :) While everyone was enjoying the summer weather and going on holidays, me and my friend were stuck in England where it rained for weeks. And here is what we did so far: three lovely denim bags from two old pairs of jeans.

I hope you liked it and I'll see you soon with more refashions!

Some New Glasses

Hi there! Continuing with the glasses refashion I made these:

To make the golden base just stick some masking tape around the glass in the shape you want. Then dip a small sponge into nail polish and tap repeatedly on the glass. After is all dry remove the tape.
Then use a red nail polish with a small brush to make the spots.

Refashioning Flower Dress

Hi there! I've got another little refashion for you.
I found this old dress and decided to give it new life.

I start cutting along the under bust line and around the neck and removed the whole top part. I used the neck line stitches for straps and just hemmed the rest of the fabric and Voila!

More Nail Polish Refashions

Hey, hey, hey! What's up, doc? :)) I've been obsessed with my new nail polish colors lately. I keep wondering around the house looking for something to refashion. :) And I came up to these old sunglasses. I just covered the few scratches with black nail polish...

... and then made some fancy stripes with the mint green:

It looks so fresh now! :)

Nail Polish Refashions with Vassie

Hi there, my dear! I'd like to share with you my new refashions. I have a very special guest at home - my old flatmate Vassie came to visit for a while. She is currently painting glasses with nail polish and she was giving me lessons. :) I think our glasses turned out amazing! But what do you think?
We used a boring wine glass...
and some shots glasses:
With a bit of nail polish...
we made this:

Aren't they adorable?! :)
We just need to make one more of each design to have sets of two.
I hope you liked it!
