White Jacket Tutorial

I had an old white jacket hiding somewhere in my wardrobe. It wasn't trendy at all, but I never got the courage to trow it away. After some spring cleaning I found it and thought of a way to re-style it, so I could wear it again. :)

All I did was to cut it very short - just under the bust line and hemmed it. I added black lace trim on each sleeve ( which originally was to cover a coffee stain) :).

I used the pockets for a new belt purse. Just added white lace and nice belt buckle.

This is one of the most simple re-styles I did and I'm very happy with the way it looks now.
I hope you liked it!
Thanks for the reading! :)

Feeling Lacy

Re-fashioning an old jacket.
All you need is a jacket and lace trim.
My trim is 5cm wide, but you can pick up any size you like.
Cut the sleeves and gather the lace trim around the edge.
Stitch two pieces of the trim at the back and tie them in a bow.

And Voila!
Your old jacket is feeling lacy and elegant. :))
Thank you for the reading!
See you tomorrow with more DIY! :)
